Honestly dude, you were using 50% of your potential with all those grunge boxes you earlier made. THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. You captured the original style magnificently, the box looks elegant, trevownz template ownz, and it looks official through and through.
#14 they are. Actually, everything on the front (except for the main propeller plane) didn't exist in WWII. The big one is a jet bomber, the ones on the left are F-18s, and the ones on the right are F-15s. Even the carriers are modern carrier designs.
But like anyone cares about that. It's still, nonetheless, a great design, and you deserved your win.
I found a few things, but they're really insignificant: On the back, you can see a faint distinct line in between the two images of clouds you used (towards the left). The clouds are upside down :). The sort of "light streak" effect you tried to use on the open holes in "1942" in the cover look great (even though imaginably overlooked), but the ends of these streaks have too round of an end. They look great when applied to the "1," but the effects on "4" look unnatural. There's also that wing from the undamaged propeller craft (the on on the right) that covers up an F-15; it just needs a better transition in between the two pictures at that one part, is all.
Nonetheless, I'm marking this as a fav. The source image is just so cool.
I know that most of the planes aren't WWII planes but - no one could notice, this isn't a history game and I was thinking that maybe it would take place from 1942 all the way to modern day, something that has never been done in a game before.
Okay contest box for this: link
Based off of 1942 for the NES. I had literally NO material here to use so I had to heavily photoshop a LOT of different pictures.
Thanks to TrevOwnz for the awesome 360 layout.

Make the blood on polaroits darker - multiply blending of pick darker color. Other than that - awesome, epic win, legendary box, etc.

5/5 very nice!
Just one thing the planes on either side of the big one to form a V-shape look like modern jet fighters, nonetheless still looks good.

#17 actually it has, Empire Earth 2. In one game, you could tech up from the stone age to the future (lasers, andriods etc).
But yeah, this is really good and I know you put a lot of hard work into it, so I will favourite it for that.

#18, ah yes I meant other than games such as Empire Earth and the Civilization series. Like, in shooters
