A bit shoddy; developer and ESRB logos are at the wrong place... But it's OK, a little improvement is needed... 3/5

Good try, but, dev logos should be in the bottom.

My second box. A little better than the first (I think) but it still needs work. Does anyone have any ideas on what progam I should use for editing? I'm currently using Microsoft Fireworks.

You should use gimp if you do not have photoshop. I'm pretty sure its a free program.

Seriously why are you asking for help? Look at a real box then look at your box and tell me what is different.

#5 ->I know that it is a very basic box with very commonly used backgrounds. But this was rushed PLUS I have a really bad editing program.

There is no reasons why it looks like this.

here link or link

In that video i make a box with a correct size template, No black anywhere, i cut logos and place them over the image. Yes its not the best but it is a start in the concept of boxart.

#7 ->Thanks 4 the vid. It was kinda helpful although I'm not sure that Paint is the best editing program ^_^ But I'll try to use your techniques next time!

fireworks is a good editing program... not as deep as photoshop but it gets the job done if you know how to use it....
