The only difference from this one and the official one is the fact that you added that little kid at the bottom, which I don't like anyways. I was goingto give you a 5/5 because it looked good, but I thought it looked familiar and I checked the official box art and it is! I give the front a 0/5 because you copied, but the back a 5/5 because it looks great.
Hey guys. This is my first box submission, accelerated by a need I had for a sleeve for my Wii Sports. Things that I used were: Original cover art, slightly altered in that I added the Sarah character from Penny Arcade's ESRB campaign, and also added the "E" rating to overlay the "T" rating that the template had (thanks for that BTW, got the link here). Removed the grey gradient bg from the cover also. The back is all me though. this was the one thing that the previous submission was missing. All screens were taken from Gamespot.com, and I believe the teenagers were from some Wii campaign. The font is Continuum (Wii font incase there was someone out there that didn't know that). Well, that's alot of information but enjoy!
#1, Thanks. The front honestly wasn't my aim on this one. It will be for future boxes, but I was just in need of some art for my case. So, I accept the 0/5 on the front... all I did was clean it up a bit. Thanks for the crit.
Thanks for all the comments guys. Sorry the front caused such an uproar, I was making this for practical purposes. But, I'll come up with a different one, and wo't put the penny arcade chars on there (though I still think that they add an extra dimension that no one else is using). Thanks for the possitive feedback on my back though. None o' my boxes will have barcodes, but will be replaced w/ my logo. Look forward to makin more boxes.
I essentially did this same thing, except I just cut up the cardboard sleeve and taped the pieces to a blank, white DVD cover sleeve. I may use this instead, but I would remove the cartoon girl.
