Boy, this is going to be a little long… Please read all of it, though…
As some of you know, I’ve been planning for a while to take a hiatus of sorts from box-making. Oh, I’ll still be on the site (Reed permitting :P), I just won’t be making a box for a while. I’ve hit a wall, talent-wise, and I’m not submitting again until I truly feel I’ve scaled that wall. You won’t see a box by me again until I truly feel that I can compete with some of the best on the site. So I guess this is where I do my thanks…
Al- Where to start? You’re an unbelievable artist, a hell of a nice guy, and a great friend. I don’t know where I’d stand on this site without you. You were always there to provide encouragement and ridiculously constructive criticism as I struggled with the tao of box-artistry. Albert, I’d most likely still suck majorly if it weren’t for you.
Ross- I’m not sure I have much to say, except thank you. Thank you for helping me. Thank you for lending me your temps, even though I didn’t deserve to defile them. Thanks for being there when I needed to vent. Thanks for being supportive. Thanks for complementing my own sarcastic douchebaggery with a style all your own. Thanks for being awesome.
Nick- You might be one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. You’ve improved so much since I first met you, and you always have new tricks up your sleeve. Dude, I don’t know what I’d do without you. All I can say is that I’m looking forward to leading the proverbial charge with you on VGBA in the coming year.
Everyone who ever gave me shit on here, thank you for motivating me to push myself and prove you wrong.
Special thanks to my relatively new friends- Mike, Jason, Steven, Sergant Johnson, and anyone else I might have forgotten, I’m truly sorry.
OK, so the mushy part is over… Now for the box.
I cannot stress enough how long I worked on this. I think it was early December when I told Ross that I was going to undergo this process, that it was going to be my last box, that it was going to be epic, etc, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if I broke 150 layers with this box. I’m extremely proud of the way this turned out. I wouldn’t make it my last box if I weren’t. The way I figure it, this truly incredible, groundbreaking game deserves a box just like it, and I hope that I pulled it off, because I slaved over this box. BioShock is the best game I’ve ever played, so this is my tribute to it- the best box I’ve ever made.
Please, if you’re looking at this, comment on it. Every post counts. Again, I worked really freaking hard on this box- Probably more than I think I have on all my other boxes COMBINED.

i did read the whole thing, i mean this sites great and ive met a lot of kool people but when people decide there gonna quit they dont have to make it look like thereve been doing it for a career.
edit: You know what i mean, i know he said that. but im just so tired of seeing ppl do this, i mean do u realy have to tell the world, its a friggen boxart site its not like im an oldman working on boxes for 60 years and finaly taking a break.
