Comment on Ray Blade's Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Box Art / Cover.
Took about 12 hours to complete. I heard the news early this morning, and just had to make a box! Glad to see Nintendo is stepping up to the plate. Anyway, the front uses some real images, I know, but I couldn't find much artwork revolving around the Triad, or asians in the GTA series, so I applied some filters to real pictures to make them look a bit more cartoony.
Thanks for looking! Criticism/comments welcomed.

Thanks. :D Glad you like it.

Damn, nice work! Maybe you should lower the opacity on the reflection. Also, there are too many images on the front, take off 2 or so. Very good, so I'll fave.

#6, Thanks, I tried to get everything in a reddish color scheme. Funny story, I was about to use your Avatar icon, at full res, on one of my boxes. xD
#8 It's okay I can explain it. xP
#7, the art on the front of the box, I found all around the net, I used google search, and found that Neoseeker is a great place for concept art. The Truck, and Chinese Lion, as well as the Lung dragons on the back are real pictures.

Wow that is amazing! I've been to Chinatown back in San Francisco, but not in New York City. This game is going to be the more advanced Nintendo DS game in the market, as long if it's not top-down.

Suporawezome.

#10 Thank you very much, and I agree, I doubt rockstar would waste time developing a top down GTA for DS. The "original GTA" game, Body Harvest was made for Nintendo 64. That was made by Rockstar and featured similar mechanics to the GTA sandbox gameplay style, you could travel on foot, or even drive like 16 different types of cars.

#18, Actually it couldn't have, I made this before the original logo came out. Thanks for the comment though.

WOW Great box anyway all the GTA titles are the name of the city but pretty good work 10/5
[ Reply ]
Wow, thanks. 10/5? >_< BTW the name Chinatown Wars is actually the title of the game! I guess Rockstar strayed from the tradition a bit when they made this.
