This is the 2nd box in my Sega Genesis series. "Prince of Persia" was originally released in 1989 by Brøderbund, on the PC platform. It was later ported to a variety of platforms, one of which was the Sega Genesis in 1993.
This box was a major effort for me. I did all of the art, the template and the "Prince of Persia" logo.
The Prince took about 11 hours to sketch and paint in Photoshop. The "cityscape" background was done in Illustrator in about an hour. The logo was done in Illustrator and Photoshop in about 45 minutes. The rest of the box and the presentation took about 2 hours and was finished in 3D in Lightwave. Hope you like it!
(Note: The text on the back is taken from the original box, so don't blame me for the line about "awesome graphics". LOL)
#3, Yeah, it's probably the most challenging thing I've ever tried to draw. I downright suck at faces. I must have re-done the eyes about 4 or 5 times from scratch.
I would've like it if you continued this with the second Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame. Hardest game I've ever played and beaten. Nonetheless, this is amazing in its own right. Keep it up my friend. ^^
Major kudos for the work on Prince! I would make black line art a bit softer. Otherwise this is 5/5 & fave. Congrats.
"Much to learn from you we can" :)
