For a first box, it looks good! However there are a few minor problems. Some of the template seems to be cut off, the Teen ESRB logo is way too big, the Sega logo should be smaller and have a white outline and the Sonic Riders logo could be bigger and more in the centre. Dont worry though, everyone makes these mistakes on their first boxes. Im pretty sure you will improve over time. I will give this 3/5 and I look forward to your next box.
#3 No problem! If you struggle with stuff like logos and sizes, click on the Hall Of Fame link at the top of the page and look at some of the other boxes and how they are designed. If you dont know where to find logos, visit the Resource thread in the VGBA forum.
For a first, its ok, looks good on the eye, but full size, everythings low res and the temp is dreadful tbh. However, shows good signs, hope to see you progress with this, a back would be nice too.
Couldn't agree more with Cerium. Live and learn. If you need help, or want to get opinions prior to uploading, you can always put it up on the forums, I try to hit them up and comment as much as possible, as well as other hit it up all the time.
I'm also giving this a 3/5 for a pretty good first.
Another good resource is The Cover Project www.thecoverproject.net - it's a collective of official covers, I get inspiration from there all the time.

I don't like the choppy logo.
The template horrible.
It's just a wallpaper.
