I like it, the whole film strip thing. I also think if you added a dark(ish) background texture, I would look much more complex.
Or maybe a slight dispersed glow around the strip :)
Personally I find the flat black a little overpowering.
Kinda late here, but whatever. I'm a huge Nirvana and Grunge fan in general, and I like it, but it looks more like a video collection or something like that. But still, good job, very grunge-like. Simple and effective.
