2nd NFS box :) as the tag says, this box is based on the Gamescom 2011 'Buried Alive' trailer. I wanted to go for a different perspective as the previous NFS Hot Pursuit box. It should represent the icy and snowy rocky mountains stage where you have to race trough the avalanche danger. All the cars on the front (except for the BMW) are pre-order exclusive cars which come with the Limited edition.

I've added a simple railgaurd, some snow effect to some of the cars, a sun flare and a bit of fog to the scene.
The trees are actually from a dingbat font link and the background is from here link (credit to Zachary Walker)

The vehicles come from different resources just like my previous NFS box, except now I've used real photo's of the cars instead of in-game screenshots (the photos are of better quality as the screenshots of the game, I only added some effects to let the cars look a bit less realistic, like there actually from the game)

BMW M3 E92 GTS link
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 link
and the Porsche 2012 911 Carerra S from here link

Credits to Scorpion Soldier and Sens for the templates.

#2, Thanks, Making up the whole front by yourself, is quite a job.
(cutting renders, adding effects, masking, sun light flare etc.)
I didn't just wanted to use the wallpaper, that I've added to the back.

Really epic man, but on the spine I say move the logo more to the centre. Also how do you add fog and sun glare to boxes?

#4, thanks, to me the logo on the spine is not really that distracting, but I can move it a bit more to the center.

The fog is actually a cloud brush with an added mask to change the opacity, than I used the blending option 'screen' in Photoshop and put a light gray color overlay to it. The sun glare is just a 'lens flare' option in Photoshop under the 'Render' tab.

#5, Much better, I didn't say it was distracting I just dont see the point in putting it that low.

Is there anyway in doing the effects in Adobe Fireworks? I dont know how to use Photoshop but I'm gonna learn.

I love it! Especially the front!

Only thing is that it says "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit" in the top corner of the background instead of The Run.

#6, I never work with Fireworks? just look up a tutorial on the Internet or learn and get familiar with Photoshop.

It seems a bit open spaced.

#10, it seems what? sorry, but what do you exactly mean by open space?

#10 Well, if you mean the space next to the sunlight;

'It should represent the icy and snowy rocky mountains stage where you have to race trough the avalanche danger.'

so, yeah I meant it to be open, because of the 'feeling' of height and fogginess you get when looking at the front, at least that's what I see? Cars racing trough an Open Rocky Mountains roadway. If you watch the trailer, you could see what I mean by it, even if you're not into racing games at all ;)

A new Camaro, the Camaro ZL1, is being launched soon, and the remarkably powerful car is cause for any muscle automobile fan to drool like one of Pavlov's dogs. Specifics are gradually surfacing about the ZL1, and the car seems to be everything a Camaro-lover could want.
