This is my first box everyone. :) As most Final Fantasy fans can probably tell, this box is based off of the Final Fantasy XIII box art. And I expect the box art of Versus XIII to look something like this. I'd love to hear everyones thoughts, and of course I accept constructive critism. (as everyone should)

Welcome to the site! Definitely not too bad for a first, but I do have some recommendations. First of all, it's really bland, even for a final fantasy box. I assume it's because the picture of the guy (who's name I do not know) was not properly cut out, or even cut out at all. Also, what program are you using?

The program Im using is GIMP, I am still getting used to it though. So I probably need more experience. I understand what you mean about bland, the boxart was based off of this one link
I know I could have improved it though by changing the background from black to dark grey the further it goes down. Im not too sure how to so that at the moment though. Thanks for the comment, I know what I have to improve on now.

#3, Even still, rather than using a solid color, maybe you should try experimenting with some gradients? I give you props for using GIMP, never really could wrap my head around that program.
