Well, it seems like people on this site really like making boxes with "minimalist" designs, so I thought I'd give it a go.
As you can probably tell, this layout and design was HEAVILY influenced by Olly Moss' fantastic box art for Resistance 3 ( link ). I felt it suited this game well, as Gears 3 shares a tone of melancholy and desperation with R3.

This is superb. Seeing a testosterone-fueled killfest like Gears of War in a more artistic light is a change of pace I'd like to be more accustomed to. Excellent work.
