Another break from drawing covers [: based on the manga/ anime "Air Gear", this was more trying out a few things but thought I'd upload it. More a stepping stone in terms of design, towards my next cover. Let me know what you think anyway...

I love Air Gear so let's give some props for that!
I really like the combo of the manga scans (both colored and normal) on the back and the silhouetted images of Ikki and Agito from the anime on the front (I myself would've only used Ikki but w/e)
It seems like you were inspired by a combination of Mydoublex's Casshern Sins box, and Hades's Chrono Trigger box.
There is only one issue I have with this, and that's the edges before the spine, they don't wrap around properly. You can tell because the images don't align properly on either the front and back.

Air Gear is amazing! The lack of any box kind of surprised me. So thanks.
I just found by using Manga Scans (both colored and normal) & Anime related images, just had a more broad variety to choose from. An the reason for Agito on the front is, I did consider just Ikki it was my original plan, but he worked. (An happens to be my favorite character)
They were great boxes themselves, and the inspiration helped [: an the next cover I mentioned, is just trying to push it further.
An I know what you mean by the edges, even though its like that; I felt that it provided a more distinguishable "break" to the flow of the cover. Split the Spine & Cover into the separate elements that they are...
