The front is awesome- don't know how much is official art and how much you've composed though, and I'm sure you're sick of hearing from me, but there are too many feature listings on the back and the tagline is absolutely miniscule. I personally don't have a problem with the font you've used but I really would increase the size of the tagline to at least twice the space it currently uses, ideally 3-4 times. It doesn't need to all be in a line- if it's a long title then in many cases it doesn't look as good in one long line than broken up one on top of the other.
To answer what you said about the front, the background is an official image, with a Dry Bones render and the character render behind the logo.
Unless there's more you've with the front, then this isn't really my favourite from you. I'm not so big a fan of the back due to what Sarashi stated, and the front seems a little lazy in my eyes. Sorry :/
Updated text a bit but basically I like it this way.
On front, these were cut out link with some baddies centered/some flipped. Bowser was darkened, Castle World is moved behind, and clouds are added right so it flows a bit more, then Mario and co put in.
@Moebius May I just say that what you think looks good is not necessarily what other people think looks good. If you're not looking for proper critique of your work so you can improve and just are looking for people who just say "yes this is good", it's probably not the best idea to even bother posting here, where there are other people who do the same thing as you except differently, and instead post it on DeviantART or somewhere people don't seem to bother as much with giving critique.
You have lots of potential and I think you're letting it go to waste by not trying to improve and just sticking by only what you think looks good- you'll be surprised if you give what others say an experiment... most people here have learnt that by experience themselves.
I’m not going to agree with suggestions 100% though, and for that matter you’re not going to agree with every one other people will make on your work. That’s part of creative control and it’s fine.
front is good , I don't like text on back , you must change fonts

This is really nice and bright. Bowser scares me as he is so large.
