I've been wanting to design something since I uploaded my Assassin's Creed: Syndicate cover so I thought I'd try my hand at a God of War piece. Plus, it's been too long since I did a PSP box.
The main logo was made from scratch, and the source images were taken from Google and KissPNG.
Cheers for looking.
God of War: Chains of Olympus Box Cover Comments
Comment on BenBrownDesign's God of War: Chains of Olympus Box Art / Cover.
the lower half of the front seems kinda empty at the moment but there's really not much stuff you could put there, unless you changed the placement of kratos, the background, the logo, etc to be lower, but i get that that might not work as well
not the biggest fan of the usage of arial narrow as the summary text either but that's a personal nitpick so you're fine, i do think the lower part of the sides is a bit empty though i think that's mostly because of the template but i understand if you're not really into having all that legal text and such
overall, not your best but it's still very much a solid effort and hell, at least someone's posting good stuff around here ^^

Yo Frank, cheers for the comments as always dude!
Yeah I definitely struggled with filling some space on the bottoms of the front and back, but I think I shot myself in the foot with restricting myself to such a tight workspace in the end with the black and gold column design going on.
Honestly I just used Arial Narrow cos I thought the God of War font was too heavy to use for normal text and would have taken away from the tagline, and it was also the font on the spine too so.. haha :p
That's it mate really, just gotta keep posting to get people interested and keep patching up the leaks this place is springing :(

Hey. Good to see some boxart posted from you. I don't mind the emptiness mentioned by Frank above (at least for the front), but I do have the same nitpick when it comes to the font choice. I think a serif font would have been more appropriate.
On the back, you could always have a bit more legal text to fill in the bottom. Or even two more screenshot thumbnails (one on each side) even if they're cropped a bit on the edges. It would fill that void.
Anyway, great work per usual.

Think this is a bit lackluster for you. The back is very empty and the front just looks messy and rushed imo.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad design, just you can do better. The logo is amazing (maybe took most the time too)
