I do work for Noesis Interactive and helped with the creation of this particular packaging.

I'm not sure I understand the question. To make the packaging 3D you simply print the spread and fit it into the DVD case. I'm pretty sure they have some crazy machine that rapidly inserts the prints. Thanks for the interest!
