It's just a screenshot, and what did you change?

version 1, and ive added a pic of a guy, added noise and all the logos any way thats only the front ill try and get a back

try blurring the backround and "sharpening" the guy... this may create a more "dramatic effect"... just an idea :)

You should cut out that guy's face with the Brush Tool, if you're using Photoshop, that is.

hmm... now the guy is blurred..., try selecting only the background and liaving the guy unblurred. Also make the transparent face less... transparent and it should be better...

something that just came to mind now...
since the game is "alone in the dark" shouldn't the cover represent this theme? i think this cover is a bit too bright for such a game... you may simply change this by changing some colours and brightnes in photoshop/gimp... just an opinion =]
