#4 thanks! i couldn't think of a great legendary pokemon to use besides Giratina. the problem is that giratina already has its own game. i was thinking back to the days of Red and Blue (how they used Charizard and Blastoise for the covers)
If I ever find the right legendary pokemon to use, that is what I'll use for my updated version of this box :)
For a first box, this is pretty great.
You have the correct ESRB and developer logo so thats a good start. The back also looks pretty sweet. I suggest move the Umbreon more towards the center on the box, and make the logo slightly bigger. Also for the "Shadow Version" part of the title, use the font 'Impact' and capitalise every letter. Anyway I like this and its a good first, so im going to give it 4/5! Welcome to the site =)
this is a geate idea but you should have put umbreon in the middel more and if it has diamond & pearl pokemon in the gam mabe use a better picture of umbreon
Don't listen to #4, he doesn't know what originality is. EVERYONE makes a box with a legendary on it. It's nice to see you mix things up. I like the idea of a game with Eevee as the starter.
You've done a good job. Composition is pretty much what you'd expect from a Pokemon game, my only complaint is that there's so much negative space on the cover, and the picture of Umbreon is pretty low quality. (Scanlines are the big issue.)
I would also suggest trying to add subtle textures, shapes, etc. to the background to help give it a little life.
This is my first custom box art. I hope you enjoy!

I think it's a good idea, but poorly executed. I am sorry.

Don't be sorry! Constructive criticism is always good...if worded correctly.
Seeing that the idea is popular, I could work on a different version later on in the near future.
Thank you for your input

Thank you for your encouragement!
I was wondering what font to use...and I couldn't find anything else!
Now I really should re-make this box for everyone here! :)
I'm glad to have stumbled upon this community. It's a nice outlet for my creative boredom :)

Its okay, however you could use a bigger version of Umbreion.

Eh. It's an alright box. It could be better, but you have potential.
