Alrighty, I noticed there was some artwork for this game that nobody had used yet, so I decided to give it a go, and this was the result.
As you may have noticed, I've went back to my ol' 3D perspective. Many thanks and other stuff for viewing.

The front isn't altered enough from the original image and besides that one effect I cant really see a difference. On the back I would say make the city sky match the color scheme of the front. But definitely like how the front looks, even if it isn't altered that much.

Work on the writing on the back. The font/writing style is nice, but it's very uniform. Needs more editing and distorting. I wondered how quick it would take for that art of Dante on the front to be used. I'm actually starting to see promise in the game, but I'm holding off on making a box until I see art that I want to use for it.
As a whole, the box is pretty good, but I'm not digging the template, and the back feels empty. Maybe place a couple of enemies on the back if there's anything like that out yet.

I understand the the back is quite bland, I think I'll wait until more artwork and info is released before I update this again. Hell, we don't even know the story. I grabbed that from IGN.
Anyways, thanks guys for your opinions.
Oh, and as for the game itself, I think that if you can get it around your head that this is an entirely different Devil May Cry series, it'll start to grow on you. Kinda disappointed that Reuben Langdon isn't involved though.

I really want to like it but it's just too bland and mucky for me.
